Walnut and dates energy bites

These energy bites are loaded with natural ingredients and require little time to prepare. Just add all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse for 1-2 minutes, form in small balls and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups dates (seeds removed) or dried apricot

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1 cup walnut

1/2 cup almond or cashew

1/4 cup flaxseed

1/4 chia seed or hemp seed (optional)

 

 INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a food processor add walnut, almond, and coconut. Pulse for 10 seconds. Repeat this until dry fruits are broken into pieces.
  2. To this add seeds and dates. Pulse for 20 seconds. Repeat this for 2-3 times till dates are crushed and mixed with dry fruit mixture.
  3. Form into small balls.
  4. Optional: roll each ball into shredded coconut

These energy bites are great for breakfast or snack time. Enjoy!
