Three main purposes of Senior Adult Ministry given by the Senior Adult Ministry Handbook are 1. “To bring people to Christ and a closer relationship with God. Many Baby Boomers are retiring and moving to new locales. There is a great opportunity for evangelism among these older adults; however, they do not often seek out a church family.” 2. To minister to the physical, emotional, and social needs of older people. And 3. To encourage and assist older members in helping others.
The Senior Adult Ministry works in collaboration with the Senior Ministries of the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
